6630>N80>N95…Camera-verdict

As I’ve told before I’m not a professional photographer, but this is what I’ve experienced from using the following Nokias

6630-1.3MP Camera with no flash.
N80-3.1MP Camera with LED flash.
N95-5MP Camera with Carl Zeiss optics and LED flash + Lens protecting Shutter

6630′s camera is a basic camera offered in the Nokia line up at its time, which even has the ordinary camera interface with no full-screen view, that really doesn’t give you the feeling that you are using a digi-cam. Also the camera application has no much customizations either. but surprisingly it can generate images above its specifications.
It can pick the colors very effectively under good light conditions and images are very clear and have distinguishable sharp edges.

But when it comes to my N80 a little bit disappointment, Its images are full of noise and have this blurry effect at the edges of the objects, even in sunny days. I think this happens due to the cheep Texas electronics sensor in it, and due to faulty image compression software. Even a firmware update didn’t help on it, so just had to be satisfied with what I’ve got.

Then the N95 which made a real change, during my trial I focused mainly on its macro capabilities, don’t know whether I wasted too much time on it, but the quality of the close-up images kept me trapped on it. It produces sharp and vivid images in the macro mode with stunning high level of details, But sill we get little bit of purple lies around the objects focused. Also sometimes a burned off effect of colors appear which cuts off the details when we take photos of too bright object, like flowers. But generally it does a good job as a macro mode camera. Whereas other modes suffer from some kind of faulty image processing issue, which can be noticed very clearly when you photograph trees and dense foliage. The camera doesn’t pick the color variation as it is (sometimes it might be lacking some colours),which give an unnatural look. But I think still this giant is the best one at its range. So pretty much impressive and satisfied, I enjoyed my time with it. So my verdict is that this is a real successor to the Nokia’s line up!
