Dreams Do Come True : I won an N95 8GB
On my post after the break I mentioned that there is one special thing happened but yet it’s not the time to announce it,So here it is, Winning Entry.
The story begins from the very first day that the N95 8GB was announced, and from that day may passion over this super device kept on growing,I always wanted to have a one or at least to get my hands on.I kept on searching the Google for free N95 8Gb’s or contests but never came across any such thing. Then I asked the cool guys over at WOM world, but unfortunately they were out of stock, instead I got N95 and N82.So the unending eagerness for a N95 8GB kept growing on n on.And that’s it about the first part…….

Then few months ago if you can remember I wrote this post about Pangea Day Mobile Filmmaking.I was one of the first among the bloggers to announced this event but never even had an idea to participate in it,cos I had this silly feeling that all these contests and giveaways are always going for the developed countries and there is no chance for us to win and the other reason is that in my life I’ve never won anything(Other than my love). But alas few days before the deadline I found these two Orphan Squirrel babies and thought of filming them throughout their growth,I did it continuously with both the N82 and N80,and whole bunch of videos can be found here on my OVI channel,In the meantime I submitted one of the videos to the Pangea Day channel. That very special one got selected for the Daily prize on the 3rd of May and yesss those cute little fellas made my dreams come true.
Sadly one of the two babies shown on the video died after two days, that one was really weak by the time I found them and I had nothing to do at all,But I took good care of the other one with the help of my family, and ultimately I was able to release it back in to the nature after 2 months. This little boy is very active and playful in the wild but still seeks the warmth inside my house at night. So thats the best satisfaction I had by helping this cute baby to come back to his life and I never expected a reward for that. But I’m so lucky get the very special device that I always dreamed of as a reward for this with a buch of goodies A tripod,Nokia filmmaking guide,Pangea Day T-shirt and a Film Directors chair. So I’m really amazed by this.
So guys behind the Pangea Day event and Nokia Filmmaking contest thanks so much for appreciating my work and thanks WOM world for sending me the N82,which I used to shoot it.And soon I’ll be reviewing a device that will not go back after two weeks of time.So stay tuned for a review of my own device.
Damn! You luky bastard! =D

Ohhh. After much disappeared from your own blog can come back and not stop surprising us … Congratulations again. Greetings from “The Nokia Style”
I think that Nokia N95 8GB is the best mobile phone i have ever seen. Its technical characteristics are more then impressive. But one thing borders me, its to high price. It could be a little lower, but everything else is just fascinating.
congrats, job well done. I hope the N95 8 gb serves you well
Congrats Ravindra ! What you did and what you got in reward proves Buddhism, doesn’t it ?
@KFlyer,That is Indeed correct,But wonder why all the people here in Sri Lanka who are exposed to this Religion of Nature cannot understand it,Actual reason for this babies to become Orphans is also a result of cruelty of so called educated people.I did all I can, but when will the others understand.Waiting for that day to come,So the war here in Sri Lanka will be history.
