Starting the first post of the series “Nature through N95 8GB”, where I’ll try to use the amazing mobile photography capabilities of N95 8GBs 5 Mega Pixel camera, to give my readers an insight of the Nature here in Sri Lanka. This series of posts will cover mostly in the Macro and landscape modes and will include anything from my garden to the most remote wilderness of this little island, as I love to explore things in the nature, and trying to understand the wild life, I’m gonna try out how close I can get with the N-series Cameras. I did this few times in past blog posts with the trial devices N82 and N95, but now having my own N95 8GB, hope I can go further and give life to some adventurous experiments, and the limitations for storage capacities are not gonna bother me anymore. But there is one annoying thing on this super mobile camera, which is the shutter sound that comes while shooting, this makes it very difficult for me to get close ups of little creatures, and gotta find a way to stop it, I’ve already found a way to remove the shutter sound with the help of ROM patcher but wonder if there is another way that is easier than that.
So here comes the first episode, Captured with the N95 8GB macro mode in my garden early in the morning catching up some sunrise and some in the afternoon, starring a familiar face, not a total stranger for most of my readers, “the squirrel baby”. The poor orphan who brought lot of traffic to my blog, gained so much attention over at Facebook,Mikes N82 blog,James’ Nokia Creative and finally became the reason for me to win the N95 8GB and the filmmaking kit on Pangea Day. So this very first post is dedicated to this adorable little buddy who brought me my luck, and I still owe him. Not a baby anymore this little guy is now nearly 3 months old and rapidly adapting back to its nature. Now he is very active in the wild and busy making friends, but for one thing yet he hasn’t got used to, he can’t stay outside my house when it is dark and still seeks shelter as the night falls. So every day when its around 5.30PM he comes to my place searching for his evening dose of milk and after spending the night in his special sleeping pouch (Which I made out of a wool carpet) wakes up early in the morning and wanders around until he gets the morning dose of milk and as soon as he’s done, off he goes back to the garden and blends in to the trees. This is the daily routing of my lucky squirrel and I’m happy to shelter him as long as he seeks it, and one day he’ll go back to where he actually belongs and when that day comes definitely I’ll feel sad, but my happiness and satisfaction that I gained by helping him to come back to his life will never be lost. All the thanks and credits should be shared with my family members, fellow bloggers and admirers around the world who helped me in every way.
