A little while ago I came across a very interesting tutorial of Time Elapsed Photography using a N-series device on Symbian Addict, which might sound like something not possible at all,but the truth is it works and there was an perfect example of a plant growth documented and posted along with it.This article really caught my mind and I was thinking of doing somewhat similar but with the tight schedule of work I couldn’t find time for that, but the Idea was never forgotten. On 20th of July while I was searching for good subject for my next “Nature Through N95 8GB” post I discovered a Nest of an Indian Robin(A magpie Species),with two newly hatched chicks inside.I thought of documenting their growth everyday with my N95 8GB,as I still had the idea of time elapsed video. This might not be the same thing but with a different and wide time scale. So except for two rainy days(I didn’t want to get close to the nest in those two days as it wasn’t in an open space, and I was afraid that my presence would chase the mother away from the nest and the little ones would exposed to the rain)I photographed them each day for a period of 13days,and honestly saying its such a pleasure to observe their growth day by day. They were rapidly growing(notice the difference that the gap has made on their growth)and on the 13th day I thought I might get a chance to photograph them in open space, and I was waiting till the sunlight reaches a good level. But in nature things are happening suddenly without any prior warning, creating happiness and sadness both, every animal become a meal to another, that’s the way life has evolved. At that morning I was bit late and the little guys were in a hurry to see the rising sun,but the crows have found them and nothing was left only the empty nest was there. The life of 13 days has created this photo-story on my N95 8GB and this would help you to understand the uncertainty of everything around us.
