Share on OVI for Facebook now supports current Users

Few days ago Rita over at Symbian-Guru.com wrote an article named “Show your Nokia Love through Facebook” focusing on some Facebook applications and pages like Live Status from My Mobile Phone,OVI and revealing a new application from OVI team called Share on OVI for Facebook,a much anticipated release that I always wanted,cos flickr sharing was there on Facebook for a while now but no official release for OVI.I’ve tried several third party FB applications like Wall Media to show off flash slideshows on OVI but they all had some kind of a letdown.So the news that Rita brought up was a big excitement for me and I immediately checked the link and there was a nicely prepared page which is very similar to the original Share on OVI page.But when I tried to enter my account info there the app didn’t recognize me as a current user and continued to show a massage saying that “Account information are incorrect or media may not be public” .A big disappointment and I contact Ricky and he too replied saying that same story over there too.As it was just released I thought it might be bug on the application itself and later Jukka Eklund replied on the Symbian-Guru thread saying that the current account info is not yet merged but it will work fine with new accounts.But never wanted to shift into a new account,I kept on checking the page on Facebook for the last week and yesterday Consumed by S60 blog officially announced the application and I rushed back on to the FB and after entering the Account info,it was working like charm.Wow,this is the coolest application I’ve ever come across on Facebook and it has a nice UI too.Now there is no worries on sharing your favourite media on Facebook and OVI slideshows work smoothly, broadening your sharing to the edge.With the new Facebook UI you can Either show the media on Wall tab next to your profile or in separate BOX where all the other apps are listed.Its easy and simple,so why not give a try and discover the new limits of Sharing with “Share on OVI“……

i tried signing up with my account on OVI but, I keep getting the same errors. I know my userid because I used OVI quite often. Help

I too came across this problem,but after trying several times I got through,it was a account clash within the OVI system,I thought it was fixed but seems like still it happens.
