Mapsters The Game : I’m getting addicted

You may know about the Nokia Mapsters site and its newest competition, where you can win a Nokia 6210 Navigator.I’ve been playing the game for the last week or so and guess what has happened, slowly and gradually I’m getting addicted to it.I noticed that I’m spending more time on it whenever I start surfing the web,the result is less posts, very little bit of reading and little bit of eye strain.Hmmm this is the first time I got fancied by such a marketing tactic, especially a game.Despite being not a game fanatic,I rarely play even a simple game and I used to wonder why people are enjoying them this much, but now me myself cannot resist the joy of playing it.It’s not the grand Prize I’m after, but the little toys, they do look real cute and adorable,Maptor,Kiano and 2.0(my favourite). Also it’s very interesting how you are getting to know about the locations and it really helps you to grow your knowledge over the World Map.

But the game itself isn’t that easy as it seems, cos you must have a good knowledge of locations and must have the ability to pin point them accurately in the given time. But still onething I cannot understand is that how on earth people can score more than 270000.as the maximum location points you get for a pinpointing a place accurately is 25000 and 2000 for the time. But if you check in the High scores tab you’ll see people with scores surpassing 500000.Can somebody explain this to me?My best score was 212 000,but yet I’m not even within the first 50 scorers to get the Toys.
