How Well Do You Look After Your Phone? Written by Ravindra
It’s been more than 6 months since I’ve won the N95 8GB Nokia Mobile Film Making Awards,and since then I’ve been using it as my primary phone.
Usually when it comes to a hardcore phone user, it’s very normal to get scratches or chipped damages both on the screen and the body of the phone. But in my case it’s bit different, while being a hardcore user I also take good care of my device. I’m not exaggerating over my usage but to be honest I do look after my phone well. Sometimes my friends laugh over my attempts to keep the phone clean and dust free, but my daily routine is very busy and normally I use public transport, so the phone is much susceptible to accidental hits, water and other bad weather conditions. Also there is another reason for me to take extra care, that is I sweat a lot on my palm and fingers.
Because of this I used a crystal cover and it worked well, but for the last few months I had to change 5 or more of them as they kept on breaking. But last week I went to buy a new crystal cover and I found something a bit different, a black color matte surfaced cover, which has a transparent part over the screen area, and also it seemed to be more durable than the crystal covers. It even had parts for front panel keys but I took-off those little parts and did some modifications with a sheet of polythene.
Now everything is perfect and the device looks much more pleasant than it was covered with a crystal cover. Here, I’m posting some photos of it to show you all and also some of the photos of my phone.There isn’t a single scratch as you can see here, only the particles of dust,trapped in between gaps. OK so that’s how I take care of my phone. How about you? How well do you look after your phone? Do you have any better protection solutions?
