I’m not a big fan of Mobile games,dunno why,but I simply don’t feel comfortable to play on a little screen,that’s about present day devices,might have to think twice when the N97 comes out.And I was always wondering why and how people are getting so addicted to games.
When the Frozen Bubble Twisted by Samir was released I just installed it on my phone not to play but to test how this specially designed accelerometer based game works.And after trying it for few times I figured out that neither it could change my way.But I forgot to uninstall it and somehow my wife has found it on my phone and said damn what a cool game is this.At last I for the first time my N95 8GB is running a game on it.So I asked her to write what she thinks about it.
I recently found out a very interesting game to play on Ravindra’s N95 8GB in my spare time. That is “FB Twist”, a simple bubble game. There are various colors of balls arranged in a random order (a different order in each level) and all we have to do is send balls to positions such that a set of three balls of the same color forms. Then that set breaks down and we have to form at least sets of three of the same color to break down balls. We have to break down all the balls similarly before the bar which holds the arranged balls comes down gradually and hit the lowest point. If we fail to break down all the balls before the bar hit its lowest, the game is over. If we succeed, we can go to the next level.
The game is played only by the joy stick. We have to twist the phone to left or right to get the direction of the sending ball. This is very easy to do, because we don’t have to worry about the controls. There’s just the joy stick and twisting is nothing to worry about. The twisting is very sensitive so a small twist gives a big angle. Therefore it is easy to use.
The best thing about this game is that you don’t have to start all over again if you fail to succeed in a particular level, because the level remains till you win. But you have to save the game if you are quitting, if not you’ll have to start from the beginning each time you are playing.
Also I found out that the best way to play the game is to sit up right while playing; because the twisting is very accurate when the phone is held to a vertical angle (horizontal angle gives the twisting of the phone which allows getting the direction). The game cannot be played while sleeping and holding the phone on top of you, since the twisting don’t work at all in that position.
I found this game really interesting and I wanted to play till the end. I did finished it, 101 levels. Not like many other ball games, this is really easy and fun. I have played(and finished) a similar game(which has 26 levels) in my Nokia 5700 Xpress Music called “Marble”,it is also a nice & easy game but the controlling is a bit difficult because the bubble gun has to move to left and right all the time. Firing of balls also done by the joy stick (or by the key pad) . Moving the gun and firing at the same time is not easy as twisting and firing. So I think FB twisted is really a cool game.”
Hmm people do like mobile games right?why not me,gotta try again.
