Not to be left behind Samsung, LG and Sony Ericsson have launched their own devices running S60. Wait did I mention Sony Ericsson? Well yes, I did, that’s because Sony Ericsson has outed the biggest baddie of all, the ‘Idou’.

Let’s get to that first.

idouThe ‘Idou’ is reported to be running Symbian Foundation’s S60 V5 iteration on a 3.5? screen with a 16:9 ratio (ala N97). Sony Ericsson has said that this is not the commercial name and a proper name for it will be revealed by this summer.

Now this baddie from Sony Ericsson is reported to have a 12 Megapixel camera! yes you read it right. I wonder how Nokia and the others are going to compete with this bad ass of a device.

The idou is them most attractive to me out of the three. I saw it with a coming soon status on http://www.puremobile.com/Sony-Ericsson/Sony-Er... although I have no idea of its expected release date.
