Aditya, great point of view. Indeed the N97 is the one ring to rule them all. I've had it for a few weeks now and indeed it can perform just about any objective you throw at it. The huge screen is a plus. The only downfall I have (coming from the E71) is the thickness...but that is something I can get passed. Obviously it needs to be this thick. Thanks for the article. The American market and media is very biased towards the iPhone, Android (G1) and Palm Pre. On top of this, Nokia does not have a strong relationship with the operators. They need to get an operator to subsidize the N97 to gain traction in the smartphone market in the US. N95 wouldn't have sold so much in the Europe if not for being subsidized by operators. Aditya, you’ve covered every strategy that a manufacturer can use to market its devices. However, I do not believe that the N97 will reign, simply due to its price point, which is too high.

It would certainly be my device of choice though!
