Nokia World 09 Day #1: The Accessories

If you thought that only devices were released, then I guess you missed these new shiny accessories which will compliment that new phone you are eying or your current phone even. These new bluetooth devices from Nokia are certainly refreshing in terms of looks and also colours. It’s nice to see white being used extensively by Nokia on their devices and accessories.

BH-607

First up is the the BH-607, a standard bluetooth device for taking those important calls. It features a programmable key, which you can program for three functions of your choice. This is a first if you ask me. This little baby has noise cancellation features so you will be hearing what your boss is saying clearly. A standby time of 160 hours and a talktime of up to 7 hours means it will last for quite a long time.

BH-505

Next up we have the sporty BH-505, designed for those who like to be active, this bluetooth device is sweat and splash resistant, so you can do more without having to worry about your precious music accessory.  With noise cancellation and the first NFC (Near Field Communication) feature, this is definitely the next generation of bluetooth devices. I think it is the first NFC equipped device in the world. Music time on this baby is 8 hours and talktime a good 10 hours, so you don’t miss out on your favourite song and that important phone call from your girlfriend.

MD-9

The third of the three is a external speaker for your office or room. The MD-9 is a single speaker with a 3.5mm audio connector and a 2.5mm converter included so all you Eseries people don’t feel left out. This baby has a 30mm driver with Neodymium magnet and works with 3 AAA size batteries which should power it for 50 hours of non stop music. It’s pretty small and handy too, with a width and depth of 2.6 x 2.6 inches only. This small baby is definitely your music amplifier in your pocket!
