Nokia has recently come to know that a certain series of chargers in its lineup is prone to open up and electrocuting the user. The issue was discovered during routine QA sessions and so far no incident has been reported.
Nokia in an attempt to safeguard all users and protect them from potential hazard , has issued a global recall on a select series of chargers. The above image illustrates the serial number of the chargers.
In India, this charger exchange program is limited to charger model AC-3E only, manufactured
between June 15 – August 9, 2009, for one Nokia phone the Nokia 7210 Supernova.
