If you thought that Android based devices selling at 160,000 phones a day was impressive, wait till you hear this ! Symbian just decided to chime in and state that they sold over 27 million devices in the second quarter. Yup , thats 300,000 devices sold every day !
Highlight Symbian’s continued position as the world’s most popular smartphone operating system, which has now become the first to be shipped in over 25 million devices in the space of one quarter.
So it means that Symbian devices are selling at about 50% more than Android devices in the same time. Somehow that quells fears i had foretelling the death of symbian
