Why E75 Would Become a Landmark in Nokia’s History

No longer it could be put in to the account of rumors, whilst it still happen to be a rumor, the sudden appearance of its official video is yet another accidental product leak as they say, thats why the video was removed from youtube may be.Anyway one thing is clear,it aint a prototype concept, its an existing prototype device that’s in the hands of some of their testers, who just cant keep their lips sealed or is it just another strategic marketing technique?doesn’t matter what it is, there is enough proof to justify the existence of this simple yet complicated but long awaited E-series device to be brought up.I’m wondering what took this long for Nokia to move on to this form factor when the sidekick trend was rushing into the hands of youth all around the world, while the side sliding was recognized as a productive and effective way to stack a full QWERTY inside business device.

So it’s a reason to celebrate them picking up this formfactor into their design portfolios at least now after lagging behind the other leading manufacturers.Being a E-series device its not just the Side Sliding that is there to amaze us but there is the spirit of all the current EXX devices released till today.

Inside E75 it’s,

  • Multiple Keypads-The legendary transformer E70
  • Candybar formfactor when closed-Packing the hand held goodness of E51 and E71/E63
  • Full QWERTY keypad-Ultimate Mini laptop E90
  • Slide aside instead of Slide up-E66/E65

So isn’t this going to be a Landmark in Nokia design line up?

Nokia E75 and E72,A more realistic rumor

I don’t usually go after rumors, but now they are much more promising than the official announcements, this is very clear if we can remember how the E71 and E66 came out.Product leaks are obviously a problem for whatever company, but we have to admit that it is far from the reality, to keep things perfectly covered from this world, unless they stop prototype testings. This is a point where they have no option other than going for it,cos to cater what the society want first the products must be distributed to a sample of consumers and feedback should be assessed to improve the final product before it goes to mass production. But the problem is it is hard to keep all the mouths shut,we cannot put aside the fact that these testers are just humans like us and it is a natural thing to hear them blabber on what they test.

But leaking of promotional videos cannot be accounted as one of these unstoppable scenarios, take a look at this video of rumored E72 and E75 posted on Symbian-Freak does this too seems like a leaked promotional video or a “one made to be leaked Intentionally”.Are we getting new clues on Nokias next generation of Marketing campaigns?

Anyway the two devices are exact replicas of E71 and E66 physically, only difference is one of them is molded in to a side-sliding form factor is what Nokia lovers were desperately waiting for ages,So glad finally they picked it.

E72 is a Candybar very much like the E71,but the E75 is the real successor of E66 with the new form factor.
